At beautiful Llanidloes with foreboding weather the Welsh team level play inter club Championships took place. Glamorgan fielded a very strong four man team against The CYD Goats five man team. The match started dry, but by lunch time the rain started to fall (luckily it was warm), making play difficult at times. Thankfully the magnificent Llanidloes lawn drained off quickly, so the small puddles soon dissipated.  With both teams  drawn after the two doubles and the first round of singles, it was all to play for. However Glamorgan fought back strongly and started to show their strengths and started to dominate the games, eventually going on to win  9 games to 4.
